In the previous blog on blocs I explained Nicolae Ceusescus's plan to make industrial centers throughout the country.  After the revolution of 1989, many of these factories closed and now Romania is dotted with abandoned industrial sites. Here are just a few examples.

 

 

 

 

 

As we have traveled around the country, we've tried to guess which industry was there but have no way of knowing if we are correct.
